Hey guys! So . . . I finally got my AMX programming certification. Woohoo me! And within the same week, I was presented with the opportunity to put it to use! One of our customers, Muzak, had an immediate need for our programming services for their Theater room for a big presentation they had coming up. In case you don't know, Muzak provides music, voice, and sound services for companies and restaurants. For example, if you've ever been inside of a restuarant that's playing music in the background, odds are, Muzak put it in.
Anyway, so this theater room they have has two LCD TVs, a projection system, a DVD player, a Satellite TV, four PC inputs, and 8 more custom audio inputs. The program that I wrote will allow them to control these devices from one touch panel that looks like this:

Jon did the original background graphics and most of the button design, but I did contribute some to the touch panel layout. By touching the screen, the customer can select which input they want (i.e. - DVD Player) and send the signal to any of the outputs (i.e. - LCD). If they want, they can then select a different input (i.e. - PC) and route it to a different output (i.e. - projection screen). They can also select the audio page and listen to any of 8 different audio sources through the room speakers.
